A Delaware Rope Climbers dream. The Cliff wall is estimated to be around 80ft high. Red Clay was once home to climbing several years ago. The land is privately owned. Due to a climbing related accident that was handled very badly some years ago, the land owners decided to ban climbing. Very little is known about the routes, the climbers who frequented the area have all moved on since the area was closed. The only information we have now is from the land owners and they have very little information about specific routes. We ask that all climbers please stay away from the area. The land owners have a very bad taste left in their mouths from the accident and all attempts to regain access have been extremely unsuccessful. Their has been rumors of the land owners leave the property. The DCC will continually try to gain access and if something changes, information will be released.
