The goal of this project is to create an "interactive" series of videos. During the entire production, the message board will be utilized to keep everyone apprized of the progress of the project, to enable YOU, the climbing community, to have as much interaction and input regarding the final product as possible - including ideas and suggestions for filming, editing and even music. The message board will also be your source for information on where and when No Rope Productions will be rolling its cameras.

The concept is to scrap the "climbing video" model where you watch some mutants hiking v10+ problems back to back. Instead, No Rope Productions' first video (Vol. 1) will be composed of people of all ages and abilities from around the country sending fun problems - "fun" in our eyes ranges from your personal project, to an aesthetic line, to a local classic, it doesn't take into account the grade. Of course, we will have a few of the big guns pulling down on problems that most of us can only dream of ever touching, but this won't be the focus of the project. The concept is simple - Create movies that are exciting to watch but most importantly inspiring. Movies that make you want to get off the couch and hit your local area for a session of pulling down with your crew.

No Rope Productions will be hitting the road on a regular basis, traveling across the country trying to capture on film the essence of each area, the vibe of the local crews and, most significantly, YOU.

We welcome suggestions from everyone - via the message board - giving feedback on the website, ideas or comments on the project, and even must see destinations.

NoRope.com will also be a showplace for your photographic and video endeavors. . . send us your photos and videos and let everyone know what's going on in your crew or local bouldering scene.

The objective of Vol. 1 is to incorporate people from all over the country whether they're hittin' up the classic destinations, showing off their hidden local gems or making it known that they've found the next hot spot - including everything from the classic problems to the unknown diamonds in the rough.
